About The Event
The Cooper Lecture Series is titled “Gun Violence: A Public Epidemic? Would addressing it as a public health problem bring solutions?” The lecture will feature a documentary “Trigger: The Ripple Effect of Gun Violence” which was developed by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Following the film, there will be a guest panel: Kerrville Chief of Police David Knight; Ruth Grubesic, professor of public health, and Marcus Hendershot, assistant professor of political science.
