Happy New Year - 2022 Here We Come!
The Hill Country Democratic Coalition and the Highway 90 Democratic Coalition have joined forces to host a series of Democratic Primary Candidate Forums. The two coalitions cover more than 20 counties in the rural Hill Country. Because early voting starts Feb 14, the forums will be scheduled for the last week in January and the first 2 weeks in February. These forums will be broadcast for 60 to 90 minutes depending on the number of candidates and begin at 5:30 or 6 pm in the evening. Stay tuned for details.
There are 6 races included in this project:
1. Lt Governor
2. Commissioner of Agriculture
3. Attorney General
4. US Congressional District 21
6. Commissioner of the General Land Office
The Kerr County Democrats need your help.
We need 6 volunteers to serve as Alternate Judges on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 when voters decide who will be on the November general election ballot. They will help the Election Judge check in voters, hand out ballots, scan the ballots, answer questions, and maintain order in the polling location.
The Primary Election Day is handled differently than the General Election Day. Each party runs its own show with a separate set of volunteers and a separate line for voters. And although the two parties share the space at the polling location, judges and alternate judges will greet and process Democratic Party voters only.
If you are willing to help out on this day, please send Barbara a note at email@example.com And tell her what precinct you live in and provide her a current mailing address, telephone number, and email.
